In an exciting development for motorsport enthusiasts, ITV has announced that it will be airing live coverage of BT Sport’s MotoGP race events. The coverage will commence with the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello this weekend, followed by the highly anticipated British Grand Prix at the legendary Silverstone circuit later this summer.

Starting from this weekend, fans across the UK will have the opportunity to watch the thrilling races of the Tissot Sprint, Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP on ITV, free of charge. The expert commentary and analysis will be provided by a team consisting of Suzi Perry, Neil Hodgson, Michael Laverty, Sylvain Guintoli, and others, ensuring an immersive viewing experience for both ITV and BT Sport audiences.

The live broadcast of the MotoGP sprint race will kick off from the iconic Mugello circuit at 1:30 pm this Saturday, 10th June, on ITV4. Sunday’s coverage, also on ITV4, will begin at 9:15 am and showcase live action from the Moto2 and Moto3 races. The build-up to the highly anticipated MotoGP race will be aired on ITV1 from 12:30 pm, with the Italian Grand Prix officially commencing at 1 pm. To cater to a wider audience, all the coverage will be simulcast on ITVX.

As the summer progresses, all eyes will turn to the historic Silverstone circuit on the 4th of August, when MotoGP returns after a six-week break. ITV will once again deliver exhilarating live race action and comprehensive coverage of the entire weekend’s events, with the presentation being handled by TNT Sports, formerly known as BT Sport starting from the 18th of July. Fans can expect the same exclusive live sport experience, including MotoGP, under the new TNT Sports banner.

While full programming and coverage details for the highly anticipated British Grand Prix are yet to be unveiled, fans can look forward to another unforgettable weekend of high-speed racing at Silverstone.
