Authorities are urging members of the public to come forward with any information or video footage related to a severe collision involving two vehicles in Kirkburton. The Roads Policing Unit has launched an appeal in hopes of gathering more details about the incident that occurred on Paddock Road, shortly before 6:00pm on Wednesday, May 24th.

The collision unfolded when a southbound Mercedes SLK collided with a Honda Accord travelling in the opposite direction. Police are particularly interested in speaking to witnesses who observed the incident or possess any relevant footage capturing the event or the vehicles leading up to it.

The driver of the Mercedes described as a man in his 50s, sustained severe injuries as a result of the crash and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital. Regrettably, his condition remains critical, and medical professionals have classified it as very poor.
