Police have issued an image of a man they want to speak with as part of their enquiries into a serious assault in Huddersfield.

The offence occurred between 7:10pm and 7:34pm on Sunday 19th March after the victim was approached by two male suspects and punched on Dryclough Road.

The victim, a man in his 30s, suffered a serious head injury and was taken to hospital.

He is continuing to recover from the attack.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said; “We would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man as part of our ongoing investigations into the incident on Dryclough Road .

“Anyone who recognises the man or who can assist the investigation is asked to contact Kirklees CID on 101 referencing crime number 13230155561.
