A 55-year-old man is scheduled to appear before Leeds magistrates today, facing charges of murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Roger Harriott, residing at Manchester Road in Linthwaite, has been held in police custody pending his appearance before the morning session of Leeds Magistrates Court on Saturday, May 27. The charges are in connection with the alleged murder of Sandra Harriott, aged 56.
The investigation into the tragic incident is being conducted by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team. The murder is reported to have taken place at approximately 6:59 a.m. on Friday, at Ripon Avenue.
