After making an appearance for his parent club Batley in last Friday’s Betfred Challenge Cup clash against Hull KR, winger Johnny Campbell has returned to Hunslet on a loan deal. The experienced player is set to join the Parksiders for a two-week period, with a review scheduled by both clubs on a week-to-week basis.
Prior to his recall by Batley for the Hull KR game, Campbell had already featured twice for Hunslet. In Jimmy Watson’s benefit match against Drighlington, he made an impact by scoring tries. He further showcased his abilities in the Betfred League 1 triumph against Cornwall, where he found the try line once again.
With his return to Hunslet, Campbell will be eligible for selection in Sunday’s home league fixture against Rochdale Hornets. The match is set to kick off at the earlier time of 1:00 pm, providing an opportunity for fans to catch the action in the afternoon.
Campbell’s presence is expected to bolster Hunslet’s attacking prowess as they seek a favourable result against Rochdale. The winger’s experience and scoring ability will undoubtedly be an asset for the team as they strive for victory in the upcoming encounter.
Hunslet supporters eagerly anticipate witnessing Campbell’s impact on the field once again, as he dons the club’s colours and aims to contribute to their ongoing success.
