Bradford Cathedral is thrilled to announce the return of free family activities during the upcoming half-term holidays. Two exciting sessions will be held on Tuesday, May 30th, from 10 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 3 pm.
In celebration of World Environment Day, which falls just a week after the event, the family activities will revolve around nature and the environment. Participants can engage in a variety of crafts, colouring, and quizzes, while also getting the chance to create a special Father’s Day card.
Maggie Myers, the Director of Education and Visitors at Bradford Cathedral, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “We’re eagerly anticipating the arrival of children and their caregivers to our May half-term holiday activity sessions.”
In addition to the enticing craft activities, family-friendly guided tours will be offered at 11 am and 2 pm. Myers further emphasised, “There’s an abundance of things to explore and experience at Bradford Cathedral, and everyone is invited!”
Visitors are encouraged to take their time and explore the Cathedral at their own pace, as it will be open on the day of the activities. Engaging Cathedral quizzes and trails will be available to keep the children entertained, and refreshments will also be provided.
To secure a place at the next Family Activities event, it is advisable to make a booking. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
