Linda, played by Bridget Christie, is on a journey to rediscover herself in the new Channel 4 comedy series, The Change. After a misunderstanding with her GP, Linda believes she has early onset dementia, only to be told she is going through the menopause.

Feeling empowered by this information, Linda decides to take control of her life and set out on an adventure to the Forest of Dean to find a tree she climbed as a child and to discover her purpose and identity.

Throughout her journey, Linda encounters a cast of eccentric locals, including the infamous Eel Sisters, an angry local radio presenter, and a mysterious man who lives in the woods with wild boar.

The comedic series promises to take viewers on a wild ride as Linda navigates her way through the wilderness and tries to find her place in the world.

The Change was commissioned for Channel 4 by Fiona McDermott, former Head of Comedy, and Laura Riseam, Commissioning Editor for Comedy.

The series is written by Bridget Christie and executive produced by Christie, Nerys Evans, and Morwenna Gordon. Lisa Mitchell will produce the series, which will be directed by Al Campbell and is an Expectation production.

BBC Studios will distribute the series internationally.

With a talented cast and creative team behind it, The Change is set to be a must-watch comedy series that tackles the themes of identity, purpose, and the challenges of aging in a hilarious and relatable way.
