Detectives investigating a stabbing incident in Leeds have taken a significant step forward in their investigation by releasing CCTV images of two suspects they are eager to identify.

The incident, which occurred on January 27 earlier this year, left an 18-year-old man with a serious leg injury after being attacked by a group of males on Fish Street in the city centre.

Authorities are now seeking the public’s cooperation in identifying the two males captured in the CCTV footage. Both individuals are believed to be between 18 to 20 years old.

The first suspect, described as an Asian male, was seen wearing a khaki green Puma tracksuit. The second suspect, a white male, was spotted wearing a black The North Face jacket along with black Nike tracksuit bottoms.

In connection with the incident, Robunni Yohannes, a 19-year-old individual, has already been identified as a suspect. While efforts to locate him are ongoing, officers are appealing for any information regarding his current whereabouts.

A 15-year-old male has also been arrested in relation to the incident and remains on bail while further inquiries are carried out.

Leeds District CID is urging anyone who recognises either of the males depicted in the CCTV images or possesses information that could aid in locating Robunni Yohannes to come forward.
