Two men aged 17 and 20 have been arrested by police investigating a serious assault on a man in the Harehills area of Leeds.

Police were called to an incident at Bellbrooke Grove on Sunday 9th April at 11:00pm in which a man was stabbed by a group of males carrying blade weapons.

The man suffered serious leg and facial injuries in the attack.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said; “Police are continuing to appeal to anyone with information about the incident to come forward. It took place in the Bellbrooke Grove area at around 11pm on Sunday, 9 April, with an 18-year-old man being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries which were caused by a bladed weapon.
