Police located a cannabis farm at the former Barclays Bank in Towngate, Wyke after responding to a burglary at the premises.
Officers attended the address after getting reports of an ongoing burglary on Tuesday night (18/04).
Following a foot chase, three men were arrested and a vehicle used in the incident was seized.
On checking the premises they located the cannabis farm inside the building, and found the electrics had been dangerously bypassed causing a risk to nearby homes and businesses.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said; “We are still forensically processing the scene and making the area safe with the help of the electricity board.
“The suspects remain in custody at this time and will be interviewed soon.”
